We are pleased to announce The Henley Youth Festival (HYF) will launch its programme for the 2018 festival at D:Two in Henley on Wednesday, 24 January, at 8pm. This event is open to parents, friends and supporters of The Henley Youth Festival.
As Jo Dickson, HYF Co-Chair of the HYF says: "The launch party in January is a chance to reveal all the fun events we have planned for this year. As this is the HYF’s 25th Anniversary, we will be hosting a special Gala event at the Kenton Theatre on Saturday 17th March which will feature acts from past performers. This is just one of many ways we will be celebrating this significant silver milestone. More than 2,500 children from Henley take part in the festival each year, and benefit from the activities we organise. Anyone is welcome to come along to our Launch Party to find out more about the festival.”
As this is the HYF’s 25th anniversary, the theme for this year will be ‘Celebration’. The festival will host school and art workshops, concerts for the performing arts at the Kenton Theatre, a cross-country run at Swiss Farm and various competitions. The special Gala, marking the silver anniversary, will be held at the Kenton Theatre on the evening of Saturday 17th March.
HYF would like to thank all the sponsors for their support. In addition, we would like to thank our partners, the Henley Standard, the Kenton Theatre, Swiss Farm, Lovibonds, Jenkat Digital and the Bell Bookshop for working with us.
If you would like to come along to the Henley Youth Festival Launch Event, we'd love to see you. Please can you RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know if you are able to join us.
Alternatively, if you are a school and you are unable to make the launch, we would be very happy to talk about the HYF in an assembly. Please feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss this further.
