Stonor Run
Lord and Lady Camoys have kindly given permission for the cross country run to be held at Stonor Park.
Trinity parents are running this event.
There will be a variety of races for children in school years 3 to 6.
The races will be run as follows:
Venue: Stonor Park
Date: Saturday 15 March 9.45am – 11.45am
10.00am – year3/4 girls approx: 1 mile
10.20am – year 3/4 boys approx: 1 mile
10. 40am –year 5/ 6 girls approx: 1.2 miles
11.00am – year 5/ 6 boys approx: 1.2 miles<
11.45 am approx. presentation of awards
The course, over fairly rough ground, is suitable for studs(football boots) or trainers. NO SPIKES.
Children should bring warm, waterproof clothing.
Refreshments are provided by Trinity parents. Parking, toilets and first aid cover are provided.
Parents must be aware of the following:
- CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES.
- KEEP AWAY FROM THE HOUSE AREA.
- DO NOT CLIMB TREES OR PLAY ON THE STANDING STONES
- DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE FLORA AND FAUNA IN THE PARK
Spectators are very welcome. Dogs must be kept on a lead as Stonor is a deer park. Once races have started runners have priority over cars and marshals will hold up traffic.The course is adequately marshalled and parents are not allowed to pace their child around the course.
