Thursday Stage & Friday Stage

This year we are introducing the new Thursday Stage and Friday Stage at the Kenton Theatre.
The programme for each night can include song, dance, comedy, drama, young bands, performance poetry, magic – any stage act is welcome.
We want you to have the best opportunity to showcase your talent - on a professional theatre stage, with all the necessary technical back-up and support.
Once all the applications for have been received, we will put together a balanced programme for each evening to give you, and the audience, two wonderful evenings of entertainment.
Please note there are specific events dedicated to Junior Dancer and Junior Singers – so on the Thursday and Friday evenings, singers and dancers must be in school year 7 and above.
For all other types of performance, the age range is any age up to 18 (or school year 13).
Come along and entertain in front of a captive audience!
Some performers will be invited back to perform in our Festival Stage on Saturday when we celebrate the highlights of Festival week.
You will get the chance for a full rehearsal in the theatre with microphones and props.
