Performing Arts
Once again Henley Youth Festival is giving you the opportunity to take to the stage and perform, with professional sound and lighting support, in front of an appreciative audinece.
The Kenton Theatre in Henley is booked for a whole week and, with our other venues at the Eyot Boat Centre and the Henley Youth Centre, this is your chance to show off your talent - we are expecting some fantastic performances!
Like to dance? Modern, Classical, Street, Tap, or your own style - see Dancer
Play an instrument? have a look at the Music page for The HYF Proms and Junior Music Makers
(younger musicians perform at the smaller venue of the Eyot Boat Club)
Play in a band and are in Year 9 and above - then why not book a spot at Gig Night
Want to sing? – check out the Singer page
(younger singers also perform at the smaller venue of the Eyot Boat Club)
Want to act, make magic - something else? - acting, singing, young bands, magic, comedy spots - anything goes for our new Thursday Stage and Friday Stage events.
Or, if you think you would like to perform outside as a 'busker', then why not book slot in the Buskers Performance area at the 'Commotion in the Square' Art Event - (details on this event coming soon).
Saturday 24th March, we have the Festival Stage. Join us for a celebration celebration of the Festival's many events - from talented musicians, dancers, singers, comedians, magicians, actors, film-makers, writers, poets, artists and young sportsmen and women.
The closing date for applications to take part in the Performing Arts events is Friday 24th February 2012.
