An opportunity for solo musicians to perform and share their talents in front of an appreciative audience.

Juniors 5-11 years (primary) :
Date: Sunday 9th March 10.00am - 3.00pm
River & Rowing Museum

Seniors 11-18 years (secondary) :
Dates: Tuesday 11th March - 7.00pm
Kenton Theatre

Entry guideline: You should prepare one piece of no longer than 5 minutes duration.

Rehearsal: For Seniors there will be a rehearsal on Tuesday 11th March late afternoon at the Kenton Theatre. Details nearer the time.

Accompanist: An accompanying pianist can be arranged with plenty of notice, for a fee.

Extra performance: Some performers will be invited back to take part in the Festival Gala on Saturday 15th March at the Kenton Theatre.

Feedback: Professional advisors will give feedback on each performance. They will select those performances which deserve special recognition for which trophies, donated by the Rotary Club of Henley on Thames, will be presented during the Festival Gala.

Medical Form: If there are any health issues the organisers should know about your child please complete a Medical Form and return with the entry form.

Entry Forms: There are two entry forms:

Junior Solos Entry Form 5-11 years (primary)
Senior Solos Entry Form 11-18 years (secondary)

Down load, print out and complete the appropriate entry form. Copies of the forms will also be available at Henley Library, Sonning Common Library and school offices from January 2008. Hand the form to your school or send the form to:

Photographs: A photographer will be present at most events during the Festival.

• Photographs will be available to purchase on a restricted website shortly after the event. To purchase photos, please email hyfphotolink@btconnect.com.
• Photos and video may be used in promotional material and on this website. Should you have any objection to your child’s photo or video of your child being used, please notify us by email to emma.lt@btinternet.com.
