Photography Entry Details
Q: When is the closing date?
A: March 19th 2010
Q: How shall I present my photograph?
A: Traditional entries should be in print form no larger than A4 mounted on card. Please enclose a separate sheet of paper stating your name, age, contact info and school or college. Manipulated entries should be 3000 pixels on the longest side compressed as a jpg level 9. Creative use of manipulation should be the key to these entries, not a traditional picture that is optimised by digital techniques.
Q: Will my work be displayed?
A: Some of the photographs will be displayed at the Henley Exhibition Centre from 24th March – 31st March 2010 and may then be uploaded onto the HYF website
Q: Will there be prizes?
A: Prizes will be awarded for each category and will be awarded on Sunday 28th March 2010 in the Market Place Exhibition Centre.
Q: Where do I send my entry?
A: Traditional entries should be posted to: HYF Photos, 9 Cromwell Road , Henley on Thames , Oxon RG9 1JH
Manipulated entries should be emailed to: hyfphotocomp@btconnect.com
HYF Photographs: A photographer will be present at most events during the Festival Week and may be present during the Prize Ceremony. Photographs will be available to purchase on a restricted website shortly after the event. To purchase photos, please email hyfphotolink@btconnect.com.
Photos and video may be used in promotional material and on this website. Should parents have any objection to your child's photo or video of your child being used, please notify us by email a.staley@btconnect.com
