Come and take part in the ninth Henley Youth Festival Chess Tournament. Competitors will be grouped according to age (between 7 and 18) and grade (if known).

Sunday 9th March 2008 1pm
Christ Church Centre, Reading Road, Henley

Registration: will take place at 1pm when the final sections will be decided.

Play: Play will commence at 1.20pm. There will be five rounds, with a maximum of 30 minutes per game. Clocks will be used.

Prizes: Trophies will be presented to the winners of each section at about 4.20pm. All participants will receive a certificate.

Refreshments: A tuck shop will be available throughout the tournament.

Entry: Entries will be accepted on a first come first served basis (60 places available).

Medical Form: If there are any health issues the organisers should know about your child please complete a Medical Form and return with the entry form

Entry Form: Print out and complete the Chess Tournament Entry Form. Copies of the form will also be available at Henley Library, Sonning Common Library and school offices from January 2008. Send the form to your school or to Michaela Clarke, 5 Elizabeth Road, Henley-on-Thames, RG9 1RG by 24th February 2008

Photographs:A photographer will be present at most events during theFestival Week
