Allen Beechey's Bright Stars of Jazz – Performance/Recital

(ABBS Jazz) aim to recreate good-time driving jazz in the style of Eddie Condon, Louis Armstrong, Wild Bill Davison and their colleagues of the 1930s-50s.  As well as playing professionally they also come to schools to enthuse students of all ages. The session will include the history and origins of jazz, show how a  melody is "jazzed up" and demonstrate the role of each instrument in this 7-piece jazz band. They will also play some great music!
